I’m Shellie Crow, E-RYT 500, YACEP.
I began teaching yoga in 2008. In all of those years, I can’t count the number of times new students have come to me and said, “I’ve never done yoga before, but my doctor told me it would help.”
Did you know that yoga is not actually a form of exercise? It is a spiritual practice. What is it about this spiritual practice that has doctors, therapists, and other medical professionals sending their patients to it in droves? For most, the answer seems to be, “We don’t know exactly why it helps, we just know that it does help.”
Yoga, which literally means “to unite”, is the bridge between suffering and integration. It gives us the strength to rise to the challenges of healing, the grace to bear what we must endure, and the present-moment awareness to live well and joyfully no matter what we face.
I believe all people ought to be free to live joy-filled lives. That is why it is my mission to provide the highest quality of yoga practices tailored to meet my clients’ individual needs. I would very much like to get to know you, hear about your struggles, and discuss how I can help you navigate your healing journey. You don’t have to walk this road alone. Contact me for a complimentary consultation and let’s take the next step together!
